Can anyone be a Company Director?

May 27, 2015

The answer is generally yes, providing:

-          They haven’t been disqualified from acting as a company director (unless a court granted a special permission)

-          They are not an undischarged bankrupt

-          They are at least 16 years old

-          All private companies require a minimum of one director and Public Limited Companies (PLC) need a minimum of two. They can be a company, providing at least one director is a physical person.
